The shitbox shuffle

Are you ready to shuffle, stroll, strut or roll your way to greatness? Introducing the Shitbox Shuffle - our virtual whatever-you-wanna-call-it that raises funds for the Shitbox Rally.

***Here is a mock up of the medal as voted by you! We will update the picture over the coming days once we have signed off on the artwork. The only major change we have made is getting the #shitboxrally2025 hashtag put on the back***

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?

You can walk, run, dance, crawl (we won’t judge), or puff your way through your chosen distance, wherever, whenever and however you’d like! You can do it alone or team up with a friend. It’s totally up to you!

Make sure you keep track of your distance using an app such as ‘map my walk’, Strava or tracking apps on smart watches because once you’re done, you email that through to us and we post out your finishers pack!

Whether you're a sprinter, a stroller, or someone who just wants to add a brand new shiny medal to your collection (we see you!), you’ll be helping raise funds for the Cancer Council.

Entry fee includes:

  • A custom Puff the Magic Wagon medal (yes, it’s absolutely glorious)

  • Certificate of participation

  • A car air freshener

  • Bragging rights for life

  • That warm fuzzy feeling you get from doing something good

So gather the kids, the dog, your weird uncle – and let’s make some magic together. Because this isn’t just about running or shuffling – it’s about rallying.

FAQ

  • The beauty of a virtual event is you can do it anywhere, anytime with anyone (with consent, of course!). You pick where and when and how it’s done, send us through the details and we send out your finishers pack! Make sure you send us a selfie with your medal!

  • You don’t have to be able to run to take part in this event. It’s not a competition or a race - it’s a group of people who want to raise money for the Cancer Council!

  • They go toward team ‘Puff the Magic Wagon’. We need to raise $5,000 in order to be able to participate! If you click on this link, you’ll be able to see how we’re travelling! https://spring2025.shitboxrally.com.au/puff-the-magic-wagon entry fee is $35 ($15 for the medal and $20 to the Cancer Council). Tracked postage and packaging is $10.

  • Yes! You can also use your Credit Card, PayPal or Klarna. If you’d prefer to do a bank deposit or PayID shout out and I’ll send you the details.

  • Medals will be sent out in August 2025.
